Is there a copyright feud between Temu and Shein
Copyright Feud between Shein Temu
Shein and Temu are two good websites with nice products and low prices. Shein has filed another lawsuit against the competitor Temu of stealing its designs, copying its product images and engaging in other types of fraud. The complaint files in a Washington federal court this week. It alleges that Temu encourages sellers to buy counterfeited items and stolen designs. Even thou Shein has filed a lawsuit against Temu but Shein has some lawsuits of its own. There are some allegations that Shein itself is the target of lawsuits from different designers and brands have accused the company of selling the same items and by stealing designs. But these two companies are no stranger to each other in the court room, they have sued each other before. Now Shein alleges that Temu isn't a marketplace at all that they control every aspect of its seller activity. That the company directs what products that they can list and prices that can sell. The demonstrators gathered to chant slogans demanding their money. Dozens of them managed to get into the office and staged a sit-in. They were unhappy with how Temu handled after sale issues related to the quality of their products, disputing an amount worth several million. Adding that the sellers had declined to resolve the disputes through the normal arbitration process stated in their seller agreements. The situation is stable, and the company is actively working with the merchants to find a solution.
